I am an accomplished HR professional with a distinguished career spanning over 12 years in the United States Army, where I served in various HR roles. My extensive experience in military HR operations honed my skills in managing personnel, implementing policies, and ensuring compliance.
After their military service, I transitioned to the civilian sector and excelled as a Staffing Manager/Employment Specialist working for the US Army Reserves, where I demonstrated my expertise in talent acquisition, candidate selection, and workforce planning working with almost 50 companies across the State of North Carolina. My strategic approach to staffing contributed to helping the Veteran and Reserve Communities succeed in landing meaningful job opportunities while also building connections with employers looking to fill open roles with Veteran and Reserve Talent while allowing those companies to build high-performing teams.
With a track record of excellence, I progressed to senior-level HR positions, including Director of HR and VP of HR. In these roles, I spearheaded comprehensive HR initiatives, encompassing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and organizational development. As I progressed in my HR (People) career, I have served in roles as a Director of HR and most recently as a VP of HR. During that time, I helped a start-up company grow to over 250 people, creating an HR Department from scratch and helping a Property Management Company grow by over 30 people.
When I decided I wanted to start my own business, my first client was that Property Management Company. My goal for clients is to provide clients success, build Long-Term Partnerships, help with Talent Acquisition, provide HR (People) Strategy, Consulting, Compliance and Risk Management
